THE OTHER GOTHENBURG

A photo book about life in Gothenburg, Nebraska — one of only two Gothenburgs in the world.

The Other Gothenburg is a voyage of discovery to the little-known sister city of the Swedish metropolis — a parallel dimension whose most typical features are not streetcars and squawking seagulls, but corn, firearms, and Bible studies.

Through a colorful weave of text and photographs, it depicts Gothenburg as a town — its Swedish history and heritage, and its rich present-day personality.

VISUAL DESIGN

Responsibility for the visual form of the book includes image selection, layout design, and typographic composition, as well as 22 logographic designs, image retouching and finishing, and prepress.
